Goring Hotel's Dining Room Renovation
Stevensons of Norwich were delighted to be involved in the renovation of the Goring Hotel’s famous Dining Room.
Retaining elements of the Dining Room’s original ceiling features, Stevensons of Norwich were tasked with creating bespoke patterns that enhanced the existing plasterwork and complimented the new interior.
Following a design development stage with the Client’s team, the bespoke patterns were handmade at our Works in Norwich by our in-house experts prior to casting.
Following completion of the manufacture at our Works in Norwich, our craftsmen undertook the specialist installation on site in London.

Neo-Classical Ceiling Design & Ceiling Rose
This project took place in a Georgian home and reflected the Client’s desire to install decorative plaster designs that were in keeping with the property’s heritage.
Following an on site consolation, Stevensons of Norwich proposed the Neoclassical strapwork ceiling design, with Vitruvian scrolls and floral paterae.
A scrolling acanthus pattern was selected to the perimeter of the room and a Soane ceiling rose for the centre piece.
The decorative plaster ceiling was handmade at our Works in Norwich, prior to being set out and installed by our craftsmen on site.
