Bespoke Decorative Plasterwork
Stevensons of Norwich were approached to manufacture the highly ornate decorative ceiling features and bespoke ceiling paneling, as well as cornices and wall panels for this high-end renovation in West London.
After our Design & Workshop drawings were approved by the Client, each element was handmade at our Works in Norwich ahead of transportation to London for installation.
The principal ceiling features are made up using a number of our existing Decorative Ceiling designs, including our DC24 - Salzburg Floral Decorative Plaster Ceiling Feature and our DC20 - French Empire Ceiling Decoration.

Bespoke Columns
Based on design guidelines by influential British architect James Gibbs, Stevensons can manufacture and produce bespoke sized columns to add a striking impression to any property. Manufactured from a choice of fibrous plaster, GRP, or our own Stevenson-Stone®, our range of non-weight-bearing columns can be specified to meet your exact requirements.

Bespoke Column Design
Stevensons of Norwich offer a bespoke column and half-column design service, through which any height or style can be produced, in a range of styles including Ionic, Doric, Tuscan and Corinthian. Our in-house Drawing Office will work with you to design the column to match the architectural style you require, ensuring that the column’s dimensions remain classically correct.
Creating your Column
Bespoke Column Moulding
Once a design has been agreed, our craftsmen will create a mould for the chosen design, and cast the column or pilaster in fibrous plaster, GRP or Stevensons-Stone® as required. Our columns and pilasters have been installed across the world, providing a unique look to the interior and exterior of numerous buildings.

IONIC AND DORIC COLUMNS
Designed exclusively for Stevensons of Norwich by distinguished classical architect Ben Pentreath, based on guidelines by James Gibbs (1682-1754), our standard range of Ionic and Doric style columns can be ordered to suit room heights between 1.8m and 2.6m, in both plain and fluted designs.
