Architectural Stonework
Stevensons-Stone®
A durable and lightweight alternative to natural stone, Stevensons-Stone® is used to create finely detailed faux stone architecture. Stevensons’ skilled craftsmen have created architectural mouldings for private and public properties in over 40 countries, from the smallest corbel to the largest column and building façade. Heritage Ceiling Restoration
Since coming into new ownership, Wolterton Park has commenced on a comprehensive renovation of the Palladian Hall and in particular, the impressive State Rooms.
Stevensons of Norwich were engaged to undertake surveys to a number of the principal public areas and to inspect the historic plasterwork prior to writing condition reports and formulating schedules of works for each location.
In locations where it was deemed necessary, securing works to the ornate lath and plaster ceilings were undertaken by our heritage experts.
For locations where elements of the historical plasterwork were missing, Stevensons of Norwich templated existing enrichments, set up new bespoke moulds and cast match to existing sections prior to setting out and dressing back in.
The faithful reproduction of the lost or damaged plasterwork is now seamlessly installed alongside the original heritage patterns.

Goring Hotel's Dining Room Renovation
Stevensons of Norwich were delighted to be involved in the renovation of the Goring Hotels famous Dining Room.
Retaining elements of the Dining Rooms original ceiling features, Stevensons of Norwich were tasked with creating bespoke patterns that enhanced the existing plasterwork and complimented the new interior.
Following a design development stage with the Clients team, the bespoke patterns were handmade at our Works in Norwich by our in-house experts prior to casting.
Following completion of the manufacture at our Works in Norwich, our craftsmen undertook the specialist installation on site in London.
